Neil Gaiman’s personal library. A little book porn for all of you readers out there.
One day… I’ll have a room like this in my house. <3

Nikon D7000 Give Away! I recently won this by winning a photography competition, but since i’m a semi-professional photographer, and already own a camera better than the D7000, a Nikon D3x (i love my Nikons), i thought I’d give it away, so someone else can share my enjoyment of photography.
Included is everything in the standard D7000 kit:
- Body
- 55-200mm Nikor Lens
- Charger
- SD card (1Gb)
- Computer cable
- Battery
- Strap
- etc. etc.
- everything you will need to go out and start shooting some photos!
- + I will pay for shipping worldwide.
Rules are simple. Just like any other give away you’ve seen on tumblr, you must reblog this post to go into the draw. you are allowed as many reblogs as you like, but ‘likes’ will not count. Also, as with other tumblr give aways, you must be following me: (http://fluctus.tumblr.com/)
Winner will be drawn by random number generator (random number corresponds with winning note number) on the 1st of July, so get rebloging! (make sure your ask boxes are turned on by the 1st, as that is how i shall contact the winner (contact me for help with this if you are unsure how).
Goodluck!
edit.
those who don’t believe me, and are sending me messages telling me i’m lying, here is a photo of the camera and lens boxes, with my url:
larger image can be seen here .
p.s. check out my friend’s blog: pixelatedtextblog.
And right after I just bought my new camera too… WOMP. It would at least mean a new lens + some other accessories.
OMG is this For Reals?
You know how I am extremely terrible at estimating lengths of things? (No? Well I am.) This would totally solve that problem.
Measure things with your fingers.
Newest addition to my Christmas decorations! At first I had it hanging inside, but my original door wreath kept losing berries… so I made the executive decision to retire it :)
Inspired from this blog post.
Luke Bryan — Rain Is a Good Thing
A little rainy-day pick-me-up music! At least I needed the pick-me-up & wanted to share it with y’all. (…also, it’s in lieu of Music Monday tunes, which I missed ONCE AGAIN.)
Also, a short state-of-the-blog sort of update: If you’re wondering if i’m ever going to have any other types of posts other than music ones ever again — have hope! I have several in drafts & then another quite a few in planning stages, including a number of cooking adventures from this summer that I still haven’t talked about. Soon(ish)!
Slavoj Žižek and the horrible paradox of charitable consumption. He’s talking about you, Tom’s Shoes.
This presentation kind of blows my mind a bit. I think I understood what he’s getting at, but if everyone thought like that, I would imagine they’d just be paralyzed by the enormity of what needs to be done. And then nothing would ever be done. Thoughts?
