So I heard of this thing, Klout, and I went to investigate what it is. Apparently I have 26 Klout… points? Or something. I’m not really clear on what that means or where that falls on the awesome/sucky scale (and I need to know, because clearly everything is a contest). And I influence some people, on a few specific subjects. Raleigh, ok, I am a resident. Star Wars…. sure. I’m sufficiently geeky.
But boats??

A photo of one of my FOs has been featured on the Ravelry pattern page again! I will always be excited about this. I made this wine cozy for a friend as a Christmas present back in 2009.
I don’t really think the yarn I chose showed off the lovely leaf and lattice cutout patterns all that well. I also didn’t measure with the actual wine bottle I was gifting until I’d almost completed the cozy — which was a mistake, as the actual wine bottle was bigger around than my test bottle. It almost didn’t fit! I probably would go up a hook size the next time around.
This may be the last push that gets me to watch this show

I don’t know when this trend started of illustrating talks with real-time whiteboard sketches, but I am enthralled by it. That said, the actual content of the summary has intrigued me enough that I’m going to pick up this book & read it.
