I wish I could share this song like I heard it — without knowing WHO it was, and therefore removing all bias. Because YES, this is the latest American Idol winner. (But also, YES, he did write the song himself.)
And because, for a split second the first time I heard it, I thought maybe it was a new Mumford song, but it didn’t sound *quite* like them.
Anyways, the moral of the story is: give the song a chance! I can’t wait to hear what the rest of his album sounds like.
